Artspread was founded in 2025 by me, Lila Stern. I am deeply committed to
arts education and the tremendous benefit it offers children and young
adults. I am increasingly concerned about the impact of eliminating arts
education from the curriculum of many K-12 schools in the U.S. I know the
immense effect that the arts have had on my own life and I am dedicated to
finding ways to promote arts education for others. By educating my peers, my
community, and beyond, I hope this platform will bring awareness to the
imports of arts education in our schools. In addition, I would like ARTSpread
to play a part in educating policymakers to ensure that funding for arts
education is a priority in the future.
