I founded The Arts Board at the Rivers School during my 10th grade year. We work to promote and celebrate the arts throughout our school community. We showcase student visual arts galleries online for our parents and alumni and student body to appreciate; we created Art Street - a day of celebrating visual and performing arts throughout our campus one day every Spring; we are planning a dedicated all-school assembly where we bring in local artists and student artist voices. We are in the process of collaborating with other schools to share ideas, and we are working on community service outreach projects to bring the arts to as many young people as we can.
