I volunteer at The New Art Center in Newton, MA as an assistant teacher for a youth art class "Recyclable Arts and More!" I love seeing the students engage in art and it reminds me over and over again how important the arts are for young minds. I feel so good that I am making a small difference in their love of art making.
I also help out in the studio in any way needed. I sort art materials, stock supplies and help the studio to run. It is a center for the arts in Newton and the classes I took there as a child had an immense impact on me.
